My Story

​For much of my life, I lived in my body but wasn’t truly aware of it. I was going through the motions—moving, barely breathing, surviving—but not really listening to the subtle cues my body was offering. It took a major turning point in my life to awaken me to the deeper connection between my body and my well-being. That turning point came with the diagnosis of my first autoimmune disease in 2006. Little did I know that this would mark the beginning of a transformative journey—one that would teach me to hear my body, to understand its whispers and shouts, and to move and rest in ways that support my healing.​

 

I am continuously humbled by the journey, and every day, I am reminded that the body is not just something to live in—it is a source of guidance, strength, and healing. I believe that with patience, presence, and a willingness to listen, we all have the capacity to heal and move with more ease, both physically and emotionally. â€‹I’ve learned that healing is not linear—there are moments of stillness that bring profound peace, and moments of movement that release years of tension. But through it all, one thing remains constant: the more I apply awareness to both movement and stillness, the more I trust my body’s wisdom. 

 

My journey, my training, and my work is informed by the idea that we can move with more ease.
